Isi artikelPT. Kynda Mas Mulia is a company that grown in metal industry. The delaying of demandfulfillment for some products, convince the company to do work system analysis. The analysis is attempted to reduce the delay rate of demand fulfillment even to remove it from the system. The purpose of this research is to generate the alternative solution for the problem occurs in the production system, in which each alternative is simulated and compared to the existing system. The observation was conducted using five products type that have relalive high demand rate. With the usage of Arena 5.0 software, pro?lem identíficalion and analysis are conducted. The motion economy principles were used to develop the preferred method of working system. The results show that the problem primarily occurs at spot welding process. The alternative solutions for solving the pro ?lem are: 1) develop new methods of works based on economic motion principles, 2) increasing the number of machines, and 3) Add the work sh fis become 2, The Alternative of adding the work shifts gives the most significant improvement compared to the existing system, followed by alternative no 2 and no 1.
