The objective of this sudy is to analyze the impact ofprivat investment to economic pemformance of Medan city The privat investment in Medan city is allocated to economic sectors which classified into 40 sector 's Input-Output model is used to anal,v:e the impact multiplier of sectors in Output. Income and employes. The simulation is to increase 10 percent of private investment to all of the key sectors. The results show that privat investment has a bigger impact in output formation, income and employement creations. Increasing the wood industri sectors investment is the policy pro output. increasing the other food sectors investment is the policy pro income, and increasing the chemical industry sectors is the policy pro employement.
