The aim of experiment is to know the adsorption ability of natural zeolites from Blitar area to alizarin red. The zeolites were washed with aquadest, NaOH and HCI solution before used for adsorption. The concentration of NaOH and HCI are 0.04; 0.06; 0.08; 0.10 and 0.12 M, of alizarin red is 30 ppm. The result of experiment shows that the adsorption of alizarin red by zeolites washed by aquadest is 0.269 milligram per gram. The adsorption of alizarin red by zeolites washed by NaOH solution in range of 0.04 - 0.12 M increase with increasing of NaOH concentration and the maximum adsorption is 0.354 milligram per gram or increase of3 1.15 % companrfg of adsorption by zeolites washed by aquadest. Adsorption of alizarin red by zeolites washed by HCI solution also insrease with increasing HCI concentration and the maximum adsorption is 0.471 milligram per gram or increase of 75 % comparing of adsorption by zeolites washed by aquadest only.
