Orientalism is the study of East culture (civilization). When the study of orientalism appears in the intellectual space, it has become knowledge as power to conquer the others (called:East). Occidentalism is the study of west culture (civilization), when it comes as the post-modernist movement, the position from East only wants to have equal of humanity with the West. It is the inter-textuality and practical force in facing West narrative. As the post-modernist power, it has strong will to challenge the Western colonization in East. This article illustrates two kind of Occidentalism action: the destructive-negative movement and the creative-positive movement in expressing the sound of the silence voice from East. It is significant to give this illustration in order ti build understanding between the West and East culture. Both of them have weakness and strength to fulfill each other.
