To treat asthmatic children as early as possible is the key factor to obtain the optimun result in the treatment of asthma. Due to the parent knowledge of the disease, the children are treated In a n already more severe condition. The aim of this research was to find out the correlation between the parent knowledge of the disease and the behaviour to postpone the treatment SUbjects were the parent of asthmtic children (5 - 12 year 01<1), at Asthmatic Oinic of dt Priyadi Semarang. Data were collected through questionnaires It was indicated that there was significant negative correlation between the parent and the behaviour to postpone the treatment (Jumal Epidemiolog/ Indonesia Volume 8 Edisl3 - 2006: 13 - 18)
